The Works Packages to be carried out under this Framework Agreement shall relate in the main to an external works programme in relation to the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS), Renfrewshire Council Housing Stock and former Renfrewshire Council Housing Stock purchased under the Right to Buy Scheme (RTB).

Cassiltoun Housing Association invited applications from suitably qualified and experienced gas/ central heating contractors to be considered to submit a quality/ price tender for the annual gas servicing and reactive repairs to existing gas central heating installations in the Association’s approximately 936 tenanted properties.

A contract is to be let for the provision of servicing of gas fired central heating installations on a 10-monthly cycle to approximately 670 dwellings plus a communal heating system. The contract will also include for a reactive maintenance service to be provided for the heating systems.

For 2013/14 and beyond the Scottish Government is providing funding for a national retrofit programme to be known as Home Energy Efficiency programmes Scotland: Area Based Schemes (HEEPS : ABS) with the intention of dramatically improving the energy efficiency of the countries housing stock via a 10 year programme of investment. This will involve linking Scottish Government funding to utilities funding provided via the Energy Company Obligation (ECO).

The purpose of the questionnaire is to allow us to identify a number of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers who will be invited to submit tender forms in respect of a framework agreement for the gash heating replacement contract - this is Stage 1.

The Council requires to establish a Framework Agreement with several suppliers of office furniture, including metal furniture, and contract furniture. Service Providers must be able to supply and install a wide range of office furniture to enable management of installations for major kit out projects. It is also expected that single purchases of desks, chairs etc will be required on an ongoing basis. Contract furniture is for use in Care Homes, Day Care Centres, Children's Homes etc; this furniture mainly comprises hard wearing domestic style furniture including: beds, tables, lounge chairs, dining tables and chairs etc.

The object of the contract(s) to which this Document relates is to deliver the programme of external fabric and common area improvement works which will bring GHA’s housing stock to a condition which meets or exceeds the Scottish Housing Quality Standard. As a first step and prior to awarding the contract, A Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) has been produced to allow Queens Cross Housing Association to assess the ability of the Economic Operators who are seeking the appointment.
